Session Information
Your Photo Session will take place in my newly, renovated home studio in Letchworth Garden City. Alternatively, with older babies and families we can shoot outdoors in a park, woodland or favourite location.
Newborns - £85 including a 7" x 5" Fine Art Print
The most ideal time to photograph a newborn baby is when they are under two weeks of age, when they are still curled up and sleep soundly allowing us to capture those beautiful, dreamy, sleepy poses but this is by no means a hard and fast rule. Every baby is different.
The session will take approximately 3-6 hours but can take longer, allowing plenty of time for feeding and settling. Sibling shots can also be included. You can book your newborn photography session as soon as you know your due date. Babies arrive when they feel like it and I will always allow a week or two either side of the date. When baby has been born, simply contact me and we can finalise the day. I will then talk to you on the phone and email you further information on how to prepare for your Newborn Session.
Having three children of my own, I am comfortable handling babies and fully aware just how precious your new baby is. Your baby's safety, needs and comfort is considered at all times. The session is extremely relaxed and completely centred around you and your baby. If baby needs feeding or changing we simply stop the session and continue when baby is happy and settled.
Above all, my aim is to give you an enjoyable day (you've certainly earned it!) and to create some beautiful images that you will treasure for a lifetime. Just sit back, relax and enjoy watching me arrange and style your baby!
Siblings
Siblings are most welcome.
Older Baby and Child - £50 including a 5" x 7" Fine Art Print
These sessions last approximately one hour and can include siblings. We can take photos of babies at any age, but the following ages work very well:-
- Four Months - a very cute age as babies are very smiley, can lie on their tummy and back and play with their toes.
- Six to Eight Months - once baby can sit is another beautiful age and we can capture some gorgeous shots of baby sitting and crawling.
- Twelve to Eighteen Months - another milestone, capturing baby's first steps. This time can coincide with their first birthday and we can include a Cake Smash if you like, simply bring along your cake and baby will do the rest!!
- Older Children - We can take photos in the studio or at an outdoor location of your choice.
Families - £50 including a 5" x 7" Fine Art Print
Again, these sessions last approximately one hour but can take up to two depending on how many configurations you would like and how many in your family.
