NEWBORN Session Information
Your Newborn Photo Session will take place in my comfortable home studio in Letchworth Garden City.
£85 including 7" x 5" Fine Art Print
The most ideal time to photograph a newborn baby is when they are under two weeks of age, when they are still curled up and sleep soundly allowing us to capture those beautiful, dreamy, sleepy poses but this is by no means a hard and fast rule. Every baby is different and I go at the pace of your baby.
The session will take approximately 4-6 hours but can take longer, allowing plenty of time for feeding and settling. Sibling shots can also be included. You can book your newborn photography session as soon as you know your due date. Babies arrive when they feel like it and I will always allow a week or two either side of the date. When baby has been born, simply contact me and we can finalise the day. I will then talk to you on the phone and email you further information on how to prepare for your Newborn Session.
Having three children of my own, I am comfortable handling babies and fully aware just how precious your new baby is. Your baby's safety, needs and comfort is considered at all times. The session is extremely relaxed and completely centred around you and your baby. If your baby needs more time to be settled, then I give more time. If baby needs feeding or changing we simply stop the session and continue when baby is happy and settled. I have a great selection of little wraps, outfits and headbands and love to involve you in the styling of your Session.
Approximately 2-3 weeks after your Session you will be invited back to the Studio for a Viewing Session. It's then you will see approximately 30 beautifully retouched images on my computer in a slideshow. We will also go through all my gorgeous products and you will be able to decide whether you would like a collection of fine art prints, digital files, an album or wall art.
